I finally had my book launch for The Loud Book! and Red Wagon. It was held at a wonderful independent bookshop here in Calgary called MonkeyShines Children's Books in an area of town called Mardaloop.

I haven't posted any panda's in a long time, so it is about time I think. I saw this old fellow in Vancouver, he is a bit beat up but still cute!

The Quiet Book is One Year Old!

With all the excitement of The Loud Book, The Quiet Book is still quietly going about it's business. This is the Italian version, I think the translation of the title is quite lovely.





The Quiet Book was voted a Honor Award recipient from the ABA's 2011 Indies Choice and E.B. White Awards. Thanks to the ABA booksellers! And congratulations to the winner of the E.B. White Read-Aloud Award - Children Make Terrible Pets by Peter Brown published by Little, Brown and Company. An awesome and fun book!
