Intermission - Deer riding scooter

A funny thing about doing a kid's books is that the book is created about a year and half or more before it is published. This year I have been working on two books, neither of which have pandas. This is a recent sketch drawn while developing some of the characters. It's not directly from the book, just trying to bring the character to life by putting it in fun poses.
