The Loud Book is Here!

Today is the official launch day for The Loud Book, YAHOO! Just like The Quiet Book, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt is offering a chance to win a piece of original art by illustrator Renata Liwska (me!) for residents of the USA. Go here for more info: http://www.hmhbooks.com/loudbook/

Below is the picture that The Quiet Book winner received, it included the original pencil drawing and a color print.

NOTE: I am still working on a giveaway of the same sort for Canada and International.

I am a fan and hope the book does a ton of business.

Thanks too for at least exploring ways for a fellow Canadians to get in on the contest.

Everytime I look at your drawing for the "school bus driving away kind of quiet", I totally laugh outloud because you totally captured that in your wonderful illustration. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

Thanks everyone, It's great to hear that people are picking up the book, and it's in the shops. That is a big surprise about doing kids books - how tricky it can be to get shops to carry your books.

Hi Kim, also good to hear that the school bus makes you laugh the same way it makes me laugh.

I just noticed one of your illustrations on Google after searching for a quiet book, and I had to come to this site to look at it. BEAUTIFUL artwork. I will have to purchase your books on just the illustrations alone. My 6th month old daughter will appreciate them when she is a little older. :) I myself am an artist and am blown away at your skill. Beautiful work.
