100% Canadian Content

This morning I wanted to draw a bowler hat on a critter and decided it was going to be a beaver. So he became a Parliament Beaver. This is often how stories come up but I am pretty sure I wont do a book about Parliament Beaver.

Fresh Perspective 2

On the weekend Mike and I attended Visual Storytelling, an animation workshop at the Banff Centre. Big Thanks to the presenters: John Hoffman from Monkeyfeather, Rich McKain from Pixar, Steve Rabatich formerly of Pixar and Dean Yeagle cartoonist. I had great time, learned a lot, met many interesting and talented people and I was still able to work on my next book. Thanks to the lovely Maggie Shirley of Banff Centre and Jenn Llewellyn for organizing the workshop.

Fresh Perspective

After months of drawing woodland critters, which I love to draw, this morning I have drawn a little kid. Feels nice for a change.

Go Uppercase

Congratulation to Janine on her fab mag!
As always, her work is a work of Art.
In the issue Mike interviewed a Moscow artist, Irina Troitskaya
about her sketchbook.
